Metal-Tech's 6,000 square meter facility in Ramat Hovav, Israel is Metal-Tech's international headquarters and the location of its Tungsten operations.
Built in the early 1990s, the facility processes and recycles metal scrap, industrial sludge, and ores containing Tungsten in order to manufacture products including Tungsten Carbide and Tungsten metal powders. These chemicals are carefully manufactured according to a customer's specifications, from nano-sized powders to coarser grains.
In addition, the facility contains a process for recycling lithium-ion batteries.
The plant is ISO 9001; 2000, ISO 14001 and Responsible Care certified.
Mongolia
Shim Technology is a 70/30 joint venture between Metal-Tech and Mongolia's Erdent Mining Corporation.
The plant was established in 2006 and produces a range ofmolybdenum chemical products.
